De richtlijn biedt JGZ-professionals handvatten om gezond slaapgedrag bij kinderen van 0 tot 18 jaar te bevorderen. Daarnaast geeft de richtlijn sturing aan JGZ-professionals bij het voorkomen en verminderen van slaapproblematiek bij kinderen.<br \/>\nDeze JGZ-richtlijn is ontwikkeld door TNO en gefinancierd met subsidie van ZonMw. De JGZ-richtlijn is inhoudelijk geautoriseerd door de AJN, V&amp;VN vakgroep Jeugd en NVDA, en randvoorwaardelijk door ActiZ Jeugd en GGD GHOR Nederland.<\/p>\n<h4>Brede expertise<\/h4>\n<p>Bij het ontwikkelen van deze richtlijn is de expertise van diverse sectoren meegenomen. Dit resulteerde in een stevige bijdrage van uitvoerende JGZ-professionals, wetenschappers en inhoudelijke experts uit de kindergeneeskunde, slaapgeneeskunde, orthopedagogiek, kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie, ontwikkelingspathologie en expertise slaapproblemen verstandelijk gehandicapten. Daarnaast is de richtlijn geoptimaliseerd met behulp van feedback van JGZ-professionals tijdens de praktijktest en input uit de landelijke commentaarronde, bijvoorbeeld met een toevoeging van de bijlage \u2018Sensitief opvoeden en een kind dat niet slaapt\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>De richtlijn is te vinden op de JGZ richtlijnenwebsite van het Nederlands Centrum Jeugdgezondheid (NCJ).
